MEET THE CAST AND CREW

Joshua D. Harris

Nicknamed the internet’s busiest boyfriend. Joshua “Dai Dream” Harris is a songwriter, playwright, and producer from Richmond, VA (southside). He is the co-founder and current Creative Director of Richmond based performance production company House of Cards VA along with his brother Justin “Flash” Harris. Joshua is looking forward to playing Boy in his hit musical All Boys Wear Blue this fall.

Jerazya Griffin

Jerazya Griffin is appearing in her second House of Cards VA production having made her debut as Minniejean Brown in last years Between Little Rock & A Hard Place. Jerazya, who began her acting journey as a Freshman in high school, is super excited to hit the road in November with the cast of All Boys Wear Blue. Heavily into TV & Film, she adds to her list of acting credits as the character Jean in this highly anticipated stage play!

Maximillian

Hey this is Maximillian. A.k.a Rev in All Boys Wear Blue. This will be my 4th All Boys Wear Blue production. I’m excited to travel and give each city an amazing show. I’m grateful to be on this journey and happy you all are apart of it

Justin "Flash" Harris

Hi this is Flash! I'm the technical director and music composer for All Boys Wear Blue. This is my 4th production with the show. I'm looking forward to hitting the road and connecting with our fans!

R3D

Well Hello There! Michaela ‘R3D’ Marie is a Dancer/Choreographer, Actress, Model, and Creative Director. Originally from Washington state, she’s also a Virginia native. This would be her second involvement in a House of Cards VA production, in the first run of All Boys Wear Blue she played Julissa, one of Jean’s bestfriends. Looking forward to traveling and spreading all the magic!

XAVIER MILLER

Xavier is excited to make his professional debut in his 1st House of Cards VA. production. Xavier is a multi-hyphenate artist in his own right who specializes in creative writing. Xavier serves as the stage manager and Boy/Rev understudy.

PLOT

This ain’t your typical high school musical. Joshua “Dai Dream” Harris stars as Boy, a shy, musically gifted adolescent who struggles with coming of age in the often Shakespearean world of the dangerous Southside. With the accompaniment of his best friend Rev (played by Maximillian) and his longtime crush Jean Ambers (played by Jerazya Griffin), they all must learn to grow up fast or fear the inevitable…. becoming another forgotten face in the ghetto. Passion, romance, and grief take center stage for a gripping new musical!

acclaim at The 1st annual RVA Black Theatre Festival in August 2024 produced by The Critical Race Theatre Project (CRTP) in Richmond, VA.
