Service Description

Services: This booking includes 1 contracted performance of All Boys Wear Blue: Growing Pains at a venue selected and prepaid for by the client. This show runs for approximately 1 hour and is recommended for ages 13 and older. After the performance 30 minutes is typically allowed for performers to engage in a brief question and answers segment with the audience or in some cases a meet in greet segment with the audience members. Booking Policy: All Bookings must be made 80 days prior to a scheduled performance, and clients will be required to include a 50% deposit to reserve the performance date. **Close Call Bookings are available for any performances scheduled between 79-45 days of an event. These bookings will include an additional fee of $2,000 to be paid during the initial deposit. Synopsis: This ain’t your typical high school musical. Boy is a shy, musically gifted adolescent who struggles with coming of age in the often Shakespearean world of the dangerous Southside. With the accompaniment of his best friend Rev and his longtime crush Jean Ambers, they all must learn to grow up fast or fear the inevitable…. becoming another forgotten face in the ghetto. Passion, romance, and grief take center stage for a gripping new musical! *All Boys Wear Blue first rose to acclaim at The 1st annual RVA Black Theatre Festival in August 2024 produced by The Critical Race Theatre Project (CRTP) in Richmond, VA, and has since toured in cities such as Washington DC, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Hampton, VA.
