About the event
The Third Annual RVA Black Theatre Festival will be a promising weekend, highlighting performance, community, and black artistic excellence! This year’s theme, “All Together,” looks to spotlight all the different branches of black theatre artists in Richmond, from established directors, writers, and producers to first-time talents. “The primary goal of our festival is to keep black theatre alive and affordable in our communities,” says Artistic Director Joshua D. Harris, who returns for his third consecutive season with the festival.
