About the event
This ain’t your typical high school musical. Joshua “Dai Dream” Harris stars as Boy, a shy, musically gifted adolescent who struggles with coming of age in the often Shakespearean world of the dangerous Southside. With the accompaniment of his best friend Rev (played by Maximillian) and his longtime crush Jean Ambers (played by Jerazya Griffin), they all must learn to grow up fast or fear the inevitable…. becoming another forgotten face in the ghetto. Passion, romance, and grief take center stage for a gripping new musical!
*All Boys Wear Blue first rose to acclaim at The 1st annual RVA Black Theatre Festival in August 2024 produced by The Critical Race Theatre Project (CRTP) in Richmond, VA.
